1. Help Support CBYX for Young Professionals

Dear friends of the CBYX program,

In honor of the 25th anniversary of the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals, we are asking for your financial support or the support of your company for select program components, or a donation of any amount to the CBYX Scholarship Fund. The items below represent crucial components of the program that we face cutting without additional financial support, and without which each CBYX participant's experience would be less than ideal. Similar fundraising efforts are taking place on the German side of the program to retain what CDS International and InWEnt (formerly Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft - CDG) consider to be essential program components.

While the US Department of State funds the majority of expenses related to the program, they also expect that nearly one third of the expenses related to the program are covered through "cost sharing". Flat budgets over the past few years and rising costs across the country mean that participants' experiences are being spread increasingly thin.

Thus, any contribution you or your company can make to support the CBYX program is greatly appreciated! The CBYX Scholarship Fund helps American and German participants who encounter financial difficulties that would prevent them from otherwise participating in or completing the program beyond typical funding provided by the program (unforeseen medical or insurance expenses, disabilities, financial problems, etc.)

You can make an individual or corporate donation in any amount to the CBYX Scholarship Fund. Please let us know if your company is interested in matching funds of other donors as well.

Please note: the CBYX Scholarship Fund benefits participants of the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals, and is not affiliated with the CDS International Scholarship Fund.
