10. NIMS requires certain training for certain officials within a municipality. These requirements can be found in Vermont’s NIMS Implementation Plan. Progress must be shown on a going forward basis (e.g. one town official has taken IS 700 in FY08 and in FY09 three town officials have taken IS 700). Not all training listed is required. Training reported should be for officials within a municipality only. If an official is also a first responder and the training was reported on the first responder NIMS survey, please put a note in the comments section with the person’s name, what training was received, the department they belong to and the position within the municipality they hold. Report the number of town officials (not fire, police or EMS personnel) who have completed the following courses:
